![]() Like I said you can look up the rules for a better explanation but I highly recommend giving it a shot. I really like this game because as the board gets filled you and your teammate play both offensively by building good hands and defensively by throwing cards that don’t match up into the other teams hand or better yet both at the same time. The difference in the total points scored by each team is how many points are earned (if total points are 73-68 the team with 73 score 5). ![]() Once all cards are played each team has 5 hands the people on the top and bottom count the columns and the team on the sides count the rows. Starting with the person to the left of the dealer everyone takes turns putting one card down at a time making a 5x5 grid with the cut card and pile in the center (3,3). The deck is then cut by the person behind the dealer as the community card. It’s mainly a 4 player game with the two people across from each other as partners. The other big one is a cribbage variant called cross crib I’m sure you can find a better explanation but I’ll give a quick run down. ![]() Using conventional scoring rules, CrossCribb requires. This helps to fix our main problem with 3 handed… all the hands and especially the crib are small and the game seems to drag. As the name suggests, CrossCribb is an alluring alteration of the traditional game of cribbage. I’ve got a couple, while playing 3 person we deal six cards to everyone and they give one to the crib and toss one to a bone pile, while the person who’s crib it is throws two like normal.
